I won't be in the Enumclaw neighborhood tonight but I plan to attend a service at Kent Lutheran Church. This is the church James attends when he's in town. It is close enough to his apartment to allow him to walk to church! What a treat! I can't even imagine living that close to my church home.
James is in Portland this weekend and Jim has a work function, so I will be going alone, to meet with some brothers and sisters I don't know, who worship in a different style and in a different place than I do. But the God we all worship will be there! We will focus our meditation on him as we contemplate his unbelievable sacrifice for us, his children, no matter where we gather.
